Q. Hi.. I have an iphone and i bought whatsapp messenger for 99 cents. Often it asks for an update so i want to know if it costs me for an update or not?

What's so special about whatsapp messenger ?
Q. I mean there are many other messengers available(which are cross platform too) but whatsapp is still the most popular one although the others are free but on whatsapp,u have to pay 1.99$ every year.Sure 1.99$ isn't much but why pay when u can use a free messenger ?
A. Whatsapp is a free application which enables users to instant message others who also have the app, it's basically like BlackBerrys BBM and The iPhones iMessage, it's a useful app and I use it a lot! It's totally free and well worth it! It lets you know if your message has been sent by showing a tick and then if you get 2 ticks your message has been read and it also tells you at the top when the person is typing! It also shows you when the person last used the app! I've got the iPhone version and I've never had to pay.
Can WhatsApp Messenger be used on samsung phones?
Q. On the site it says android, blackberries, iphones and nokia...does that mean i cant use it on a samsung?
A. It would depend on if the Samsung runs one of those operating systems. In this case it would either Android or Windows Phone 7 (which the site doesn't mention that can run WhatsApp).
