Q. Okay so I just got my HTC EVO 3D and whenever i type a letter it vibrates. And I have tried everything to take it off but I never can . Can you please help me? :(
A. This is called 'haptic feedback', and is an option set 'on' by default in your keyboard options.
Assuming you've installed the latest Android update (Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3), and assuming you're still using the default Android keyboard, the option is much more difficult to find now for some reason, though it's still accessible: go to home screen and press the menu button, then select Settings>>>Language & keyboard, then select the 'settings' button (looks like a graphic equaliser or sliding buttons) next to Touch Input. Next, select 'Text input' (which misleadingly implies it's just for predictive text options), and untick 'Vibrate when typing'.
That should sort it out. If you're still running Android Gingerbread 2.3.4, it should be simpler, though largely the same process as above. If you use a different keyboard by default, instead of selecting the 'Touch input' settings, choose the settings for whichever keyboard you do use (Swype, Swiftkey, whatever) and there should be a similar option to deactivate haptic feedback.

I had some questions, does it have something like the sNote from the Galaxy Note where I can write down math and it gives me an option to search? And what can I do with it? Can I write essays? Would this be appropiate for school work and games? Is the skype good, meaning can you text chat?

to answer your queries -
1. no, it does not come natively with sNote, but there is an sNote app on play store, and several others that are similar to it.
2. you can write essays, of course. again, it all comes down to the app that suits you best. there are editing apps, some simple such as notepad, some office-like, such as office suite. I suggest to download a few (most are free) and try them one by one. I am sure in the end one will fit your needs perfectly. I also suggest to download the swiftkey keyboard app for better faster tying.
3. it is appropriate for both school and games. I use it the same way, for work and play. it's powerful (quad core processor inside), hi def display, very good battery life.
4. also skype for android works like a charm - of course you can text chat.

Best Android keyboard that has a default enter key, ( not a :-) button)? ?
Q. Rooted or not, does not matter.
It seems all the Android keyboards have no enter key. They are all equipped with a :-) button as the default, needing to lomg+press for enter. And when I say enter, I want it to drop down a line, not send. Even with the almighty SwiftKey keyboard (which I am using now), you need to long press.
It's sad that this question even needs to be asked, not all of us type like 14 year older...
A. I use Smart Keyboard Pro. There's a setting that does what you want. Instead of long pressing to enter, it's set on enter as default and the long press brings out the smiley menu. I hope that made sense.
