Q. Hi does anyone know how to set Opera Mini as the default web browser in Samsung S5600 Preston icon? I can open it as an application from the Games folder, but is it possible for it to replace Samsung Mobile Browser v0.8 as the default - as in, when I open links or the youtube widget it will use Opera Mini instead of the Samsung browser.

A. No it is not possible. You cant replace your phone browser with opera mini because it is just a secondary app and for some purposes phone browser is essential. Moreover you cant use youtube on opera mini, if you click on the video opera mini opens it through phone browser.
Is opera mini a full web browser, as mentioned in their web site ?
Q. My doubt is, when i browse thru an article in a web portal, i couldn't see "discussion board" section on my mobile.
A. I would say "Yes but with limitations". And the limitations are not of the browser but the device. There would be some components like flash/java which the devices are not able to handle these won't appear in the browser.
I am using it on my PDA and had no such issue except for flash. Like I am not able to play videos on youtube in this or to the fact any mobile browser.

Can the mini opera browser be installed on a cell phone to search the web?

A. its free to download and has a search engine to search the web and do everything u can do on ur phones browser. Go to m.opera.com from ur phones native browser, it will give u the best versions for ur phone model. Follow the download links. Then u will find it in ur phones app or installation menu, the icon is a big red O.
