What android phones are compatible with netflix?

Q. I have many friends who have smartphones, but they aren't compatible with the Netflix app. I know the iPhone is compatible with Netflix, meaning it actually plays movies, but aren't there other phones who can play netflix videos? Help?
I mean the android phones that actually play netflix movies. My friend's crappy android phone doesn't play netflix, saying "it's not compatible with this device" or something of that sort.

A. To answer your question some android devices won't support Netflix. Especially older version of Android like 2.2 or below. Tell your friend to reinstall the app again and see if it will work. Sometimes the problem is cost by the app. Or just the bugs that are affecting it. The newest Netflix app right now is 2.1.2 and it supports android 2.2 or up. Also i recommend you to check the version of your os. If it's below 2.1 then the netflix will not work.

How is it possible for instagram users to have a lot of followers with minimal posts?

Q. I noticed a lot of people without a lot of photo's have over 500 followers. How is this possible? I'd like to have this too.

A. Perhaps all their posts interactions with other people are via private message or their posts are hidden, assuming it's possible to do these things on Instagram (which I've never heard of until now so I'm unsure how it works, but I assume it's kind of similar to Facebook and Twitter.)

My gut reaction is that you only get out what you put in.

Original Question

What's so special about whatsapp messenger ?

Q. I mean there are many other messengers available(which are cross platform too) but whatsapp is still the most popular one although the others are free but on whatsapp,u have to pay 1.99$ every year.Sure 1.99$ isn't much but why pay when u can use a free messenger ?

A. Whatsapp is a free application which enables users to instant message others who also have the app, it's basically like BlackBerrys BBM and The iPhones iMessage, it's a useful app and I use it a lot! It's totally free and well worth it! It lets you know if your message has been sent by showing a tick and then if you get 2 ticks your message has been read and it also tells you at the top when the person is typing! It also shows you when the person last used the app! I've got the iPhone version and I've never had to pay.

Can i play games all Android games on all Android phones? Is there any resolution problem?

Q. I want to know that the Can i play all the games of ANDROID MARKET on all phones of Android OS?
Is there any problem of Screen Resolution?
For e-g ,
Can i play the all games of Android on Xperia x10 mini? As it has very low Resolution!

A. Some of the newest games released require faster processors and dedicated graphics chips to play well on a phone. You will find out quickly if your phone is not capable of handling the games. As far as the resolution issue, most good developers embed into their program what screen resolutions the application or game will run on, and what it won't work for. The Android Market is smart and will not show you applications that are not compatible with your phone. That is, if the maker of the game put this information in. If you are unsure, before purchasing a game, email the developer to see if they recommend it for use on your phone.

I want to learn to make android games what programming language should I learn?

Q. I want to learn to make games similar to minecraft. is there any books you would like to recommend to me?

A. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_software_development

Applications are usually developed in the Java programming language using the Android Software Development Kit

If you don't want to learn Java, there is a number of alternatives. See the Wikipedia article for more.

A quick and dirty alternative is using the Apache Cordova (aka PhoneGap) mobile development framework, which allows to develop applications using HTML+CSS+Javascript, that can be target to many mobile platforms including Android and the iPhone, but this is a cross-platform framework and not quite suitable for developing games (and definitely not an option for developing 3D games like Minecraft)

How does android smart phone intelligent voice talk work?

Q. How does the smart phone come up with seemingly intelligent answers?
Does the program do it,or does the smart phone computer do it with the added program?
Does the computer some how get smarter with each answer you give via the program instructions.
Does any smart people out there have any answers?

A. I just love how when Apple does something, every other smart phone does the same thing within a week.

But as for your question: real artificial intel does learn from past experience. In a phone, it's matched to a database where other users' experience is judged and their servers learn how people speak.

How do android developers obtain information to put into their apps?

Q. If an android developer were to create a GPS system or a Weather App, how do they get the information fed into the application? Obviously i wouldn't have my own sattelite or weather station so how do i put information into the application?

A. For GPS you'd use the Android core libraries, like this class: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/location/LocationManager.html

For a weather app you'd use some weather API, the most obvious probably being the Google Weather API, but you could really use any one you want. http://blog.programmableweb.com/2010/02/08/googles-secret-weather-api/

A. well, last i remembered when i watched Dragonball...it was said that Android 18 was originaly human and the doc just remodeled her insides,no?
but yeah, still..i wonder why. if doc gero remodeled her insides he should have taken her womb and others.

How do i make android apps and publish them to the android market?

Q. How do i code everything . I made a app with eclipse and SDK manager . But not sure what all the codes mean. I need help . Should i pay 25.00 to be allowed to publish to the market? . Also is it easier to use sites that generates apps so i wouldnt need to code? Im a newbie and im 15!

A. You're gonna have to learn to write code eventually. Your programs probably won't even be approved for the market if you didn't put any effort into them.

As for licensing, I don't know the specifics for Andriod, but normally it's around $100 a year.

I think you should learn to code for yourself instead of trying to publish other peoples work. It's immoral and you could end up with a law-suit on your hands.
